FELT
MASKEveryday she puts on a mask
days just don’t feel right,
at times she has to force herself to laugh,
just to cover the pain.
This feeling deep inside of her
keeps on haunting,
like the little voice inside
telling you somethings wrong.
The voice says, “It’s not your fault”
but she never seems to listen.
She covers it up so well,
no wonder no one knows,
that one thing turned into millions
that kept digging her deeper into a grave.
So everyday she goes on,
walking with her mask on,
keeping it all inside,
for nobody to know
